We’ve been having a problem with mice living under the house for the last couple of weeks, so we set out live traps so we can catch them. This morning, we got a two-fer… two mice in one trap (one male and one female). So we loaded them up in the car to take them to the park for release. When Trav opened the trap to let them go, they went in opposite directions. One took off towards the woods, and other ran across the parking lot and stopped about 10 feet away from the bushes and cover. He was looking around like, ‘Whaaaat…?”All of a sudden, a hawk swooped down and grabbed the mouse! We had never seen a bird of prey actually get something at such close range, so that was pretty neat. The circle of life goes on…
